Mr. Hsieh is a tea maker of the highest magnitude. Nevermind the national competitions he’s won, or the dauntless, critical eye he applies to each of his productions—his tea making is so involved, that every single batch that leaves his facility is exceptional. What seems like exaggeration, for Mr. Hsieh is true. Many of his productions revolve around the transplanted Fujian ‘Da Ye’ cultivar—but he’s capable of any process: black, green, white, oolong. A former employee of TRES, he paired their methodical, scientific level of tea making with his own deft instincts, to usher in a new horizon in Ruisui.
