Red Pearl is an oolong with a humble name referring to its black tea-like liquor. Its dark amber infusion is a result of careful craft--baked at a low, steady temperature results in sweet, caramelized malt flavors. Patience, intuition, and skill have as much to do with its flavor as its terroir: the birthplace of Dong Fang Mei Ren bears another beauty that is dark, rich, and indulgent. Notes of dulce de leche, agave, and marzipan.
