Grown at the extreme elevations of Qinhua near Ligong Village in Yunnan, tea masters from Taiwan were sent on a state sanctioned visit to the high elevation gardens of Yunnan. Mr. Fung, a decorated tea master from Nantou, Taiwan planted his 'Iron Goddess' cultivar in the gardens. At this elevation, the tea plant grows slowly but sweetly. After five years the plants were hardy enough to yield the first lots. The results are astonishing. Silky mouthfeel with notes of strawberries and cream, clementine, and rose water.
