With a tasting room in Kunming and a few parcels in remote western Dehong (which, depending on the day, is not always accessible to foreign visitors), Lohas is practicing an absolutely unique teaism both around old tree pu’er, but also fresh styles such as the Snow Phoenix. We’ve been friends with Vicky for many years and despite a desire to work with her, all lots were either sold out, or commission only. In 2020, when Chinese domestic demand plummeted, we were finally able to purchase what is now a fixture on our menu: one of the most unique needle-style white teas anywhere in the world: the Dehong Snow Phoenix.
