Our first ever pu'er is a sheng cha, the raw material of pu’er production. Yiwu is one of Pu'er tea's "Six Famous Tea Mountains" of origin and one of the most tradition-oriented production regions in Yunnan. Ms. Qing, along with her family and friends in the village produce this Qiaomu (30-70 year old tree material) into large, "rough," and natural loose leaves. Harvested, withered, fired and sun-dried—masters have been making pu'er virtually the same on Yiwu Mountain since the style began. Sweet aroma, mild, earthy flavor with low astringency and lingering aftertaste.
